Age: 18-29 years old
Knowledge: Familiar with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals Experience & skills:
Sustainable Development Goals Experience & skills:
Track record in any project/organization/company that contributes to the achievement of the SDG’s, especially focused, but not essential, in SDG 3 and SDG 11.
Shown significant participation in their project/organization/company, by leading activities or/and young people.
Long-term commitment in contributing to the achievement of specific activities that will be agreed during the 2nd World Youth Assembly for Road Safety.
Proficient in English (Intermediate Level).
Sector: Non-profit organizations, grassroots movements, artistic & cultural expressions, governments, private companies, academia.
Other mandatory requirements:
Ensure the cover of the expenses (travel, accommodation and meals). Please check the subdisy policy for low and middle income countries’ participants and apply before November 30th, 2019.
Participate in the previous stage of the Assembly: the consultation process.
Deadlines for travel subsidies’ applications: November 30th, 2019
Deadline for general registrations: December 18th, 2019
Spaces are limited. Registrations will be open on a “first come, first served” basis and submission of the registration form do not automatically guarantee acceptance.
Registrants will receive their official confirmation letter and the travel subsidies confirmation (if applied) once the Youth Taskforce and the organizers evaluate their application and confirm your participation in a youth consultation activity, no later than December 18th, 2019.
Those who need to apply for a Schengen visa to attend the Assembly are encouraged to have the visa requirements’ ready and apply as soon as you receive the official confirmation letter.
Please note that all sessions at the Assembly are conducted in English and that language translation services will be provided only during plenary sessions (Spanish and French).
Young leaders under the age of 18 have the opportunity to participate in the youth consultations that will take place locally and also to attend the event virtually.
There is financial aid available to support some applicants partially, focused on low and middle income countries’ participants. Please check the Subsidy Policy and if you meet the criteria, please submit your application by November 30th, 2019. Otherwise, we suggest applicants check local organizations for sources of subsidy and support and we also encourage you to organize activities for self-funding efforts.

Consultations will begin in Fall 2019 and you will have to either lead a local consultation activity with 3 or more young leaders from within your network or join the local consultations that will take place in your country, led by other potential attendees.
